Monk cloth is loosely woven fabric that was used for curtains in the 40's, but is now in demand for weaving crafts including cross stitch and embroidery. Because of it's heavy weight and soft feel, it makes an excellent afghan throw. Also great for pillows, baby blankets, shawls and other home and apparel accessories.
